Mou-rata: Match made in heaven?

Manchester United have been linked heavily with the signing of Spanish forward Alvaro Morata this summer, with reports of the club having a €60m bid rejected this week.

The club are desperate to sign a new striker to lead the line after the collapse of a move for Antoine Griezmann earlier in the window, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney are expected to leave the club this summer.

Morata’s name as the number one target has been met with dismay by some sections of support, but why?

Zlatan to Manchester United would be magical

Rumours are abound that a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be joining Jose Mourinho by signing for Manchester United this summer.

The Swede scored the opening goal in Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 win over Chelsea in the Champions League during the week and following the game spoke to English press about his future.

On the final day of the January transfer window, Manchester City stole the show by announcing that former Barcelona and current Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola, will be taking over at The Etihad this summer.  This news should have come as shock to absolutely no one, but it certainly caused a stir, nonetheless.

Manchester United 3-0 Stoke – We’re not that boring after all!

Tuesday’s win over Stoke City proved that Manchester United don’t have to be boring and defensive after all.

A solid 3-0 win thanks to goals from Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney against a Stoke side who thumped us on Boxing Day showed signs of promise from Louis van Gaal’s team.
